Dr. Kenneth Robbins, a psychiatrist hired by Geyser’s defense attorney, testified in August that the girl believes she can communicate telepathically with Slender Man and was more worried about offending the specter than going to prison.

“If she says the wrong thing, if she somehow upsets Slender Man, not only hers, but her family’s lives, could be in danger,” Robbins explained.

Dr. Brooke Lundbohm, a court-appointed psychologist, said Geyser described Slender Man as “a person she has a strong bond with, she idolizes and believes to be real.”

Prosecutors say the two girls plotted for months to kill their classmate before luring the child to a wooded park after a sleepover in Waukesha, west of Milwaukee, and stabbing her 19 times.

Payton Leutner survived by crawling from the woods to a sidewalk where a bicyclist found her and called 911.

DENVER: ‘ FBI INVESTIGATING THREE TEENAGE GIRLS OVER JOINING ISLAMIC STATE ‘

#AceWorldNews – UNITED STATES (Denver) – Authorities are investigating whether three teenage girls from suburban Denver who may have been trying to join Islamic State militants in Syria have friends or associates with similar intentions.

A U.S. official said the evidence gathered so far made it clear that the girls – two sisters, ages 17 and 15, and their 16-year-old friend – were headed to Syria, though the official said investigators were still trying to determine what sort of contacts they had in that country.

The official said investigators would be trying to figure out whether there were “like-minded” friends and acquaintances in the girls’ social circle.

At the end of the show, the legendary designer himself emerged, supported by two of his models.

He didn’t walk on his own, and didn’t go far, but he was beaming from ear to ear.

He gave each model a peck on the cheek, and then returned to the wings, where models and staff could be heard cheering him enthusiastically.

‘ US STATE DEPARTMENT ISSUES GLOBAL TERRORISM ALERT TO ALL AMERICAN’S TRAVELLING TO ABROAD ‘

The State Department is renewing its global terrorism alert for Americans travelling abroad, saying it sees a heightened risk of reprisal attacks from the Islamic State group and its supporters.

In a new “worldwide caution” issued on Friday, the department said terrorist groups continue to plot strikes against Americans and U.S. interests in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

It said authorities believe there is “an increased likelihood” of reprisal attacks from Islamic State militants since the U.S. and its coalition partners launched military action against the group in Iraq and Syria.

The alert replaces an existing warning issued in April and also notes the growing threat of kidnapping perpetrated by terrorists.

INDIANA: ‘ SEVEN BODIES OF WOMEN FOUND WITH LINKS TO SERIAL KILLER HELD IN CUSTODY ‘

#AceBreakingNews – UNITED STATES (Indiana) – October 20 – The bodies of seven women found over the weekend in north west Indiana have been linked to an unidentified possible serial killer who is in police custody and led authorities to at least three of the bodies, officials said Monday.

The women were found throughout Hammond and Gary, according to the Lake County coroner’s office. The Chicago Sun-Times cited police sources saying the man in custody is a 43-year-old resident of Gary.

Hammond Chief John Doughty said police will have more information at a press conference Monday at noon local time, but said the man gave police information on three other dead women, all in Gary.

Hammond Mayor Thomas McDermott Jr. called the person of interest a “serial killer” in a Facebook post Sunday afternoon and said he has “admitted to a couple of homicides in Hammond,” that date back to 1994 or 1995.

He also said in his posts that the man is a convicted sex offender.

“The suspect Hammond arrested for the Motel 6 murder is an admitted serial killer,” McDermott wrote.

“The suspect gave up the location of a body in Gary that was confirmed found where he said it would be.”

His plastics company in the Rust Belt town of Akron, Ohio, thrived.

By the late 1980’s, he had acquired the trappings of success: a Cadillac DeVille and a Lincoln Town Car, a lake front home, investments in oil and real estate.

The payments, underwritten by American taxpayers, flowed through a legal loophole that gave the U.S. Justice Department leverage to persuade Nazi suspects to leave the U.S.

If they agreed to go, or simply fled before deportation, they could keep their Social Security, according to interviews and internal U.S. government records.

WASHINGTON: ‘ PENTAGON ACKNOWLEDGES AIR-DROP OF WEAPONS TO KURDISH REBELS ‘

#AceWorldNews – UNITED STATES (Washington) – The Pentagon has publicly acknowledged an air-drop of lethal aid to Kurdish rebels fighting the hardline Islamic State in the pivotal Syrian-Turkish border town of Kobani, shortly after news of considerable gains made against the terrorists there.

The Sunday delivery, which also contained other supplies, comes on the heels of renewed US air-strikes on Syria and Iraq’s oil infrastructure in a bid to cripple the terrorist group’s hold on it.

Eleven of the strikes were on the Kobani area overnight.

A brief statement by US Central Command said US Air Force C-130 aircraft “delivered weapons, ammunition and medical supplies that were provided by Kurdish authorities in Iraq and intended to enable continued resistance against ISIL’s [Islamic State, formerly ISIS/ISIL] attempts to overtake Kobani.”

A total of 27 drops with supplies were delivered, another official stated. The aircraft left the Syrian air space following the operation.

On the Kurdish side, a spokesman acknowledged delivery of large quantities of ammunition, weapons and medical aid on Monday. The announcement followed another brief statement that “good news”would soon be released.

The spokesman may have been referring to recent gains made by Kurdish forces against Islamic State militants, who have allegedly been retreating from Kobani.

The latest from the forces on the ground was that a clean-up operation is under-way, but parts of this crucial border town remain occupied by sporadic terrorists and suicide bombers.
