#AceWorldNews says that dozens of protesters have stormed Libya’s interim parliament building, the General National Congress, demanding the dissolution of the country’s highest political authority.
The protesters rallied against the “kidnapping” overnight of demonstrators from a sit-in outside the parliament.
They said some of the demonstrators were detained by gunmen who broke up the sit-in on Saturday. Demonstrators claimed the gunmen belonged to the Operations Cell of Libyan Revolutionaries, a former rebel group which operates under the GNC’s command.
The justice ministry denounced the abduction “of youths who were expressing their views.”
