LONDON: Counter Terrorism Command detectives who arrested a man in north London on 19 April have made a second arrest on Saturday afternoon as enquirers continue #AceNewsDesk – @AceNewsServices

#AceNewsReport – Apr.23: On Saturday afternoon, 22 April officers arrested a 40-year-old man [B] in south-east London on suspicion of being concerned in funding arrangements for the purposes of #terrorism. He has been detained at a south London police station under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE).

​Further arrest by Counter Terrorism Command officers on Wednesday morning, 19 April, officers arrested a 30-year-old man [A] at an address in north London on suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism. He remains detained at a south London police station under section 40(1) of the Terrorism Act 2000.

Searches at a residential address in north London have concluded.

Enquiries continue.
