Sorhaindo was seen as one of a group of men involved in a fight outside in the street. The victim, a man aged in his teens was stabbed during the incident before Sorhaindo drove away from the scene.
The victim sustained multiple stab wounds and was taken to hospital. Less than 20 minutes later, officers had found and stopped Sorhaindo’s car and he was arrested. The victim’s blood was found on Sorhaindo’s jacket and shoes.
Sorhaindo denied a count of causing grievous bodily harm with intent but following a trial, a jury took just 15 minutes to decide he was guilty on 5 July 2017. He was sentenced to 13 years in prison, and was ordered to serve an additional four years on licence upon his release. Kent Police (UK) (@kent_police) August 18, 2017 #AceNewsDesk
