(MANHATTAN, N.Y.) Court Report: Cesar Sayoc Accused of sending 16-mail bombs to Democrats that did not detonate has pleaded guilty on Thursday to 65-felony counts including using weapons of mass destruction in an attempted domestic terrorist attack #AceNewsDesk reports

#AceNewsReport – Mar.22: The Florida man accused of sending mail bombs to CNN offices and prominent Democrats pleaded guilty on Thursday in Manhattan federal court to 65 felony counts, including using weapons of mass destruction in an attempted domestic terrorist attack: Cesar Sayoc, 57, admitted in court to having mailed 16 explosive devices to a variety of officials — primarily Democrats, including former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton and Sens. Cory Booker and Kamala Harris; and major Democratic donors, including George Soros and Tom Steyer — and to CNN’s offices in October 2018: None of the devices detonated and no one was injured. After a four-day nationwide hunt, FBI agents found and arrested Sayoc in Plantation, Florida CNN reported.

In addition to 16 counts of the use of weapons of mass destruction, Sayoc pleaded guilty to the interstate transport of explosives, the illegal mailing of explosives with the intent to kill or injure and the carrying of explosives during the commission of a felony, among other crimes: He faces a maximum sentence of life imprisonment and is set to be sentenced on September 12: “I sent all 16 devices with the intent to threaten or intimidate,” Sayoc said in court: “I know these actions were wrong,” he added, sobbing.

Sayoc initially indicated in court that although he packed the devices with fertilizer and powder from fireworks, he intended them only to look like pipe bombs, not to detonate: But at prosecutors’ urging, US District Court Judge Jed Rakoff pressed him on whether he intended for them to cause physical harm: “Did you intend that they would, in fact, explode?” the judge said: “No, sir,” Sayoc replied: “What would prevent, for example, powder from fireworks from exploding?” the judge asked: After a moment, Sayoc said, “Sir, I was aware of the risk that it would explode.”

Sayoc was initially indicted on 30 federal charges in November, including several counts of use of a weapon of mass destruction, interstate transportation of explosives and the use and carrying of a destructive device in furtherance of a violent crime: Those counts carried a minimum penalty of life imprisonment: Sayoc had pleaded not guilty to those charges: He was expected to go to trial in July.

Sayoc, of Aventura, Florida, is a bodybuilder who worked as a dancer for several years and most recently as a pizza delivery driver: He apparently lived in a white van plastered with stickers and posters that praised President Donald Trump and criticized Democrats and media figures, including some of the people who were targets of the bombs.

#AceNewsReport – Mar.22: An ex high school associate head teacher has admitted collecting more than 2,000 sexual abuse images of children and possessing class A drugs: In October 2017 Paul Newbury, 50, was in an online video conferencing room where the live sex abuse of a 10-year-old girl was shown: She was identified and safeguarded by authorities in the United States: Newbury was using the username ‘north London’ which National Crime Agency investigators proved resolved to his home in Wood Green, London.

In February 2018 NCA officers arrested Newbury: Who was at the time was working at Acland Burghley School, Camden, London – and found drugs at his home which included 717 milligrams of cocaine: In interview Newbury admitted possession of Cocaine, GHB, Methadrone and Crystal methamphetamine, for personal use, which he used while in the video conferencing platform: He also admitted making, possessing and distributing indecent images of children: A review of his digital devices identified more than 2,000 child sexual abuse images and videos ranging from category A (the most severe) to category C.: There is no evidence to suggest he was in sexual contact with any children and no evidence to link his offending to the school which sacked him on 7 March 2018.

At Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court: Newbury admitted four counts of making indecent images of children, one of distributing indecent photographs of children, two counts of possessing class A drugs, possession of a prohibited image, showing an indecent photograph of a child, and possession of an extreme pornographic image: He will be sentenced at Southwark Crown Court on a date to be fixed.

A spokesperson for Acland Burghley School said: “Families and students have been informed of today’s events. We are now working with the relevant agencies to ensure the whole school community receives support as we move forward.”

A Camden Council spokesman said: “We fully support Acland Burghley School’s transparent and proactive approach to inform the families of their students about this case as soon as was legally possible: “Extensive checks have been made by the National Crime Agency and both Camden and other councils’ safeguarding teams. These have confirmed that no inappropriate material was found on any school computer, no child protection concerns have ever been raised, and the NCA inquiry focused on the activities at the individual’s home address: “The recruitment process used to appoint the individual has also been examined and, at the time of their employment, confirmed to have adhered to all safeguarding requirements.”

(WASHINGTON) FBI Operation Varsity Blues: Nearly 50-Federal Indictments served on a number of ‘ Holl ywood Celebs ‘ after investigation over being implicated in a widespread college entrance exam & ac ceptance scheme into the cheating where some individuals allegedly paid amounts as high as $6 million to ens ure their kids got into the best schools #AceNewsDesk reports

#AceNewsReport – Mar.21: A whole host of Hollywood elites, most notably Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin, have now been implicated in a widespread college entrance exam and acceptance scheme: The FBI’s investigation into the cheating has led to nearly 50 people being served with federal indictments. Both Felicity Huffman and Loughlin’s husband, Mossimo Giannulli, have already been arrested. Loughlin is reportedly out of the county, but police have ordered her to return to the states and turn herself in by March 13th.

image1.jpeg

The investigation, dubbed “Operation Varsity Blues,” looked into the common practices that elites use to get their children into top-notch schools: While colleges around the county claim to accept students based on merit, the FBI’s investigation found that this wasn’t always the case.

The FBI used recorded phone calls and interviews to piece together the situation. Investigators learned that William Rick Singer was running a “college counseling” program that promised to help the “wealthiest families in the U.S. get their kids into school”: It remains to be seen how Singer convinced various schools to take these wealthy elitist students, but police have confirmed that Huffman gave him nearly $15,000 to help her daughter cheat on her SATs. Police also suspect that Loughlin and Giannulli paid over $500,000 to ensure their two daughters were accepted into the University of Southern California. The couple reportedly paid some of the money to an individual to vouch that their youngster was part of the rowing team, which was a complete fabrication.

Prosecutors will be uncovering more facts as the case progresses: Some individuals allegedly paid amounts as high as $6 million to ensure their kids got into the best schools: Police are not taking this lightly. Investigators believe other applicants were deprived of a fair shot at admission due to the bribing of multiple school officials.

(GLASGOW, Scotland.) Court Report: 16yr-old Aaron Campbell who brutally ‘ Raped & Murdered ‘ 6yr-old Alesha MacPhail on Isle of Bute last July was sentenced to life with minimum of 27yrs in prison wit hout parole after he finally admitted his crime #AceNewsDesk reports

#AceNewsReport – Mar.21: During his trial, Aaron Campbell had repeatedly denied he abducted, raped and killed the six-year-old on the Isle of Bute last July: But he admitted his offences to a psychologist preparing a report to the court ahead of his sentencing: Judge Lord Matthews imposed a life sentence for the “brutal” murder: He set the punishment part of the sentence, before Campbell can apply for parole, at 27 years BBC News reported.

Aaron CampbellPolice Scotland: Aaron Campbell:

Lord Matthews said Campbell’s crime had caused “revulsion and disbelief”: He said Alesha had been violated and murdered and told Campbell he was a “cold, callous, calculating, remorseless and dangerous individual”……….The judge read out Campbell’s “cold blooded and horrific” account of his actions that night and how he described seeing Alesha asleep in her room as “a moment of opportunity”……………Campbell’s confession was contained in the criminal justice social report and the criminal psychologist’s report, which were prepared ahead of his sentencing.

The report by the forensic clinical psychologist Dr Gary Macpherson quoted Campbell as saying: “At any other time in life murder would not have been the conclusion: “If I was a year younger I don’t think I would have done it: “All I thought about was killing her once I saw her.”

In his sentencing statement, the judge said the teenager had shown breathtaking arrogance during the trial and had failed to plead guilty despite overwhelming evidence against him: He said he had shown “a staggering lack of remorse”……….”Not once did I detect a flicker of emotion from you,” the judge said: Lord Matthews said it would be for others to decide if Campbell would ever be released, indeed, he said his reintegration into society might be “impossible”.During his nine-day trial at the High Court in Glasgow last month, Campbell claimed he had never met his victim and lodged a special defence naming the 18-year-old girlfriend of Alesha’s father as the killer: The judge said this was a “cruel travesty of the truth” and said the woman he blamed, Toni McLachlan, was “completely innocent”……The judge said he was “shocked” by the clear admissions of guilt in the background reports, especially after the “tissue of lies” Campbell had told in court.

The psychologist said that on the night of Alesha’s death Campbell had been drinking and wanted cannabis so he decided to go into her father’s home to get some: Alesha’s father had previously sold him the drug.

In his sentencing statement, Lord Matthews said Campbell had carried Alesha to a secluded spot where he raped and murdered her “in the most brutal fashion”…….He told the teenager: “You said that Alesha was drowsy and became a bit more awake when you went out……….”At one point she asked who you were and where you were going………..”You said you were a friend of her father and that you were taking her home.”

Campbell gave Alesha his coat because she was cold: The judge said that over the next few days Campbell was unconcerned about what had happened, and was “slightly amused” that the police had not caught him: The court heard that the teenager had said he was “quite satisfied by the murder”……….The judge said Campbell told Dr Macpherson that at points during the trial it took “everything to stop laughing” and he had to “zip his mouth”………Lord Matthews said the reports concluded that Campbell was not suffering from a mental health disorder but showed a total lack of victim empathy.

Alesha, from Airdrie in Lanarkshire, was just days into a holiday when she was abducted from her bed: She was reported missing from her grandparents’ home on Ardbeg Road, near Rothesay, at 06:23 on 2 July last year: Dozens of islanders joined the search for the child but at 08:54 her naked body was discovered in a wooded area in the grounds of the former Kyles Hydropathic Hotel: A post-mortem examination later revealed she had suffered 117 injuries and died from significant pressure being applied to her face and neck: After the sentence was read out family members shouted “evil” and “beast” as Campbell was led down to the cells.
